With Valentine’s Day approaching, love is definitely in the air. Last week I had an engagement photo shoot with the lovely Ashley and her fiancée, John. Leu Gardens served as the backdrop for this particular session, and it was absolutely breathtaking. I can not believe I had never been there before, and my assistant, Sandra, and I agreed we will go back as soon as we can!
The weather in Florida is usually unpredictable, however, “mother nature” smiled on us that day. It wasn’t hot, nor was it cold; the weather was perfect!
Ashley and John were great to work with, they are in love and it shows! When photographing couples, I often find that it takes the men a little while to get comfortable in front of the camera, as opposed to women. Ashley helped relax her beau and he followed her lead with no trouble at all. After about two hours of great shots we had to throw in the towel, but given the opportunity, I am sure we could have kept going.
I’d like to share a little of the love between these two with everyone, and I am so happy they have asked me to capture their wedding ceremony in October. These photos are the beginning of the rest of their lives together, so congratulations to the lovely couple and I will see you both at the altar.
